Continuing the theme of pampered travel, let's contemplate luggage. A smart traveller would say why even bother bringing your luggage with you? It is such a pain dragging about a suitcase between the airport and the city. What if you want to attend some last minute meetings before dashing for your flight?!
At the airport you have to deal with connecting terminals. You also have to deal with over-zealous security and customs procedures. Once on the plane there is never any room to stuff anything in the overhead bin. Even with priority tags you always have to wait 30 minutes for your bags to come off the belt....

I found this on a website - but they don't tell me how to receive this luscious luxury! Of course, I always travel with an empty suit case and clean out the Hugo Boss boutique the day I arrive in in which ever city I am in anyway...but this idea has promise!
Luxury Now!
This is a new service for travelers based on telecommunication technologies. Would you like to have some extra luxury when you travel? [ed. note: YES] Do you think carrying suitcases is very annoying and old fashioned? [ed. note: YES YES!] Do you think that it would be nice to try something new when you are away from home? [ed. note: Of course!!]
This is Luxury Now!, just board your flight without suitcase, take your seat and relax. When the in-flight entertainment starts switch to the "Luxury Now" channel, select the clothes you want to wear during the next days of your stay in Paris, choose among Dior, Saint Laurent, Kenzo. Select your size, colors, even underwear, shoes, make up, moisturizing cream, and enter the address of your hotel. Slide your credit card and your wardrobe for the travel is booked!
Upon your arrival at the hotel, check in and go to your room… Opening the closet you will find everything you ordered on the Luxury Now menu. Try different styles, play with your new wardrobe. Have fun!
When you are finished just leave everything in the closet to be returned to Luxury Now. If you like, you can select a few garments, maybe the favorite tux you wore out to last night's film festival, and it will be delivered to your house by courier before you return home.
What a sweet way to market clothes!!!...ummm..well... expensive clothes!
